Return Policy

Conditions for simple returns

Although we have rarely had to take a bed back, under certain conditions (listed below), you can return your bed within 30 days of delivery.

  • Your product must be in its original condition.

  • There must be a compelling reason for your return.

  • You agree to pay any associated return shipping costs.

In case of defects or damage

If you receive your bed in a damaged or defective condition, we’ll work with you to find the best solution. We will either replace the defective or damaged parts or exchange your bed for a new one, whatever is most economical:

  • If we deem that it would be easiest and most economical to replace the defective or damaged parts, we will deliver or ship the parts to you, whatever is most economical.

  • if we deem that it would be easiest and most economical to replace the  bed,  we will order or produce a replacement bed and ship it to you free of charge.  We will also work out the details of what to do with the damaged bed.

Procedure for requesting a return

If you wish to return your bed, contact us by email: keith@hiddenbedoforegon.com. Please explain the reasons for your decision and include your phone number in your email. We will call to work out the details of the return. You can choose to receive store credit for your return or have the original payment method refunded less any associated return shipping costs.

Cancellation Policy

Wall beds and desk beds

Cancellation for a wall bed or desk bed purchase must be received within two weeks of the initial order date. The reason for this is that when we order one of these beds from our manufacturer, we are given a window of only two weeks to cancel an order that we have placed with them. 

 

Night and Day Cabinet Beds 

For beds that we have in stock, we will accept a cancellation up to one week before your bed is scheduled for delivery. For beds that we need to order, we will accept a cancellation within one week before we are scheduled to pick up the bed from our supplier.

Once a refund has been approved, you can expect to receive it within five business days.

Collection of information:

If you sign up for our newsletter, or request information, we collect your name and email address, and in some instances your phone number. If you order a product from us, we additionally collect your physical address. Credit card information you may provide during the ordering process either goes directly through our terminal or is encrypted and processed through our website payment gateways that adhere to strictly regulated data security standards. We do not see or store any of this information.

How we use this information:

This information is used to fulfill orders, respond to enquiries, and occasionally to communicate with you.  We do not supply or sell any information to any third party. 

 

Tracking Technology:

This website responsibly uses cookies and tracking technology. This information is not used to personally identify you, but is instead aggregated to help us provide better service by tracking various aspects of website usage such as number of visits, average time spent on site, pages viewed etc. The cookies and tracking technology do not collect personal identifiable information.

Shipping Policy

Local Delivery and setup is free

If you live within 50 miles of our location in Mount Angel Oregon, we will deliver and set up your bed free.

​

Distant Delivery from 50 to 260 miles - $1.50 per mile round trip

We always prefer to deliver and set up beds for our customers if we can do this within an 8 hour day, which is doable If you live within 180 miles from our plant. For this service we charge $1.50 per mile round trip beyond the 50 mile mark.

Shipping to distant locations:

If it would take more than a day to deliver and install your bed due to the distance, it may be more economical for you to have us ship your bed. Please call for a quote. If you wish us to ship your bed, it will be delivered to your curbside where the driver will set your boxed/crated bed at your curbside. It is your responsibility to receive the delivery, check it for signs of damage, move the boxes into your residence, assemble your bed, and dispose of the packaging. Written instructions will accompany your bed. We will also provide phone support during the assembly process if necessary.​

Delivery Scheduling

Once we receive your order, we will contact you to arrange for the delivery of your bed. Lead time varies depending on bed type and production scheduling from between two days to six months:

  • Night & Day cabinet beds: If we have the bed in stock, we can generally ship in between 2 to 5 business days. If the bed is not in stock, it could take up to 6 months for us to receive and then ship the bed. This is due to Covid lockdowns which have stifled manufacturing, and shipping bottlenecks which make it difficult to get these beds quickly.

  • Cabinet Bed Inc. Beds: Cabinet beds from this company ship from between 1 to 2 weeks depending on whether the bed is an inventory item or a made to order bed.

  • Wall Beds Inc. Beds: These beds will ship in between 8 to 10 weeks.
